It’s time to get the hydroponic setups cranked up again. The first step in the process is starting seeds for the things that I want to grow. To make things easy, I start everything in rockwool cubes. In this video, I’ll show exactly how I do it. It’s a very simple process, one that anybody could do.
As the seedlings begin to germinate, it is very important that you get them under some type of grow light. Since I started these inside, I had to build a new grow light stand. The PVC stand that I built is very inexpensive and worked out well.

how often did you turn the lights off ?
When do you remove the Dome from the tray? Or do you keep it on?
Can you post the light tube info+links as well? Is it T8 or T5?

Small rockwool cubes the lime in then from processing isn't as hard to just rinse out with plain water. Probably the lime helps sometimes. But the large cubes oh yah better get the ph down.

I have tested rockwool vs soil seed starting. The rockwool method is definitely not the way. I personally had half the growth in 30 days in rockwool and will never do it again.
