Even in the city, birds survive. I have fruit trees, tall grass, mounds of
composting grass and fruit — an insect-rich environment. ( I only trash
the beer bottles, condoms, crack pipes, McDonald’s wrappers the local
community deposits on the property. ) Where birds can nest and eat and feed
their young, they thrive, they return. Anyone in the city can make a green
world around them. Such a world only requires high chain link fencing and
imagination and work. And perhaps an AK 47.
That’s a nice looking greenhouse. I think the switch in fertilizers was a
